Warranty Policy
Pallet Plaza Liquidation sells customer returns, overstock, shelf-pulls, and other liquidation merchandise. Because liquidation inventory is different from merchandise sold through a traditional retail store, warranties and claims work differently.
In Short
There is no seller warranty on liquidation merchandise.
Separately, every order purchased from Pallet Plaza Liquidation is covered by a 30-day claims window for issues covered by our Refund & Return Policy.
These are two different protections, and both apply.
A warranty generally covers an individual product failing or developing a defect. Our claims process is designed to address situations where the liquidation lot itself is materially different from what was described or arrives with a qualifying issue.
The 30-day claims window applies to every order on our website, subject to the terms and exclusions of our Refund & Return Policy.
Liquidation Lots Are Sold As-Is
Every pallet, lot, and truckload sold by Pallet Plaza Liquidation is sold as-is unless the individual listing specifically states otherwise.
There is no seller warranty and no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Pallet Plaza Liquidation does not provide an extended warranty, service warranty, or guarantee on individual items contained within liquidation lots.
Unless a product listing specifically states otherwise, we do not test, repair, refurbish, or service individual items before sale.
The pricing of liquidation merchandise reflects the nature of the inventory. Items may be untested and may include customer returns, used merchandise, opened products, damaged items, incomplete items, or products that are no longer functional.
Purchasing liquidation merchandise means accepting the inherent condition variability associated with this type of inventory.
Manufacturer Warranties
In certain circumstances, an individual product may still have an original manufacturer’s warranty.
New, Sealed, or Overstock Merchandise
For new, sealed, or overstock products, any original manufacturer’s warranty that accompanies the product may still apply.
Manufacturer warranties are handled directly by the manufacturer. Pallet Plaza Liquidation does not register, administer, extend, or guarantee the continuation of a manufacturer’s warranty.
The existence of a manufacturer warranty should not be assumed unless it is specifically stated or the manufacturer’s warranty is confirmed independently.
Customer Returns, Used, or As-Is Merchandise
For customer-return, used, opened, or as-is merchandise, assume there is no active manufacturer warranty unless the item remains sealed in its original unopened packaging and the manufacturer warranty is still applicable.
Customer-return merchandise may have:
Opened packaging
Missing parts or accessories
Previous registration
Expired warranty periods
Prior use
Damage or wear
Unknown warranty status
No Blanket Warranty Period
There is no single warranty period that applies to an entire liquidation pallet or truckload.
Warranty availability can vary based on the individual product, manufacturer, age, condition, packaging, and original purchase history.
Always review the condition information on the specific product or lot page before purchasing.
What Pallet Plaza Liquidation Stands Behind
While we do not provide a seller warranty on liquidation merchandise, we do stand behind the accuracy of the lot description.
If the merchandise you receive is materially different from what was represented, you may be protected under our claims process.
Examples of potentially covered claims include:
Incorrect or Wrong Lot
You receive a materially different lot than the one you purchased.
Materially Misrepresented Condition
The overall condition of the lot is materially worse than the condition represented in the listing.
Defective Delivery
The lot arrives non-functional or unusable beyond the condition stated or reasonably represented in the listing.
Freight Damage
The shipment arrives damaged during transportation and the damage is properly documented on the Bill of Lading at delivery.
Covered claims are subject to the requirements, deadlines, and exclusions outlined in our Refund & Return Policy and Shipping Policy.
The 30-Day Claims Window Is Not a Warranty
The 30-day claims period should not be interpreted as a 30-day product warranty.
For example, if an individual item in an as-is customer-return pallet stops working after delivery, that does not automatically mean the item is covered by a warranty or that the entire pallet is eligible for return.
The 30-day claims period exists so customers can notify us when there is a qualifying problem with the lot or our fulfillment of the order.
Normal liquidation variance remains part of the as-is purchase.
Reseller Responsibility
Many customers purchase liquidation merchandise for resale.
If you resell merchandise purchased from Pallet Plaza Liquidation, any warranty, guarantee, return policy, or other promise you make to your own customers is your responsibility.
Any warranty or guarantee you provide to your customers is separate from Pallet Plaza Liquidation and is not backed or administered by us.
We strongly recommend that resellers:
Inspect merchandise before resale
Test products when practical
Verify completeness and condition
Clearly disclose known defects or limitations
Price merchandise appropriately for its condition
Avoid representing liquidation merchandise as new unless it genuinely qualifies as new
